The previous act gave us a definition of an auditor, and according to the new act, we now have sworn auditors. A sworn auditor's certificate is given, following a decision by the Minister
of Finance, to a person who has passed the auditor's exam and has taken the auditor's oath. After the oath has been given, a note is entered into the registry proving the certification of
the sworn auditor. The registry of auditors is provided at the website of the Board of Auditors (www.audiitorkogu.ee) and as of March 9th, 2010, 363 sworn auditors have been entered
