image: Your feedback is welcomed on the planned "International Innovation and Technology School" Your feedback is welcomed on the planned "International Innovation and Technology School" Viimsi County Government as a project leader, together with the Estonian Venture Capital Association, is currently studying the feasibility of creating an International Baccalaureate School (IB School) where the elementary school is divided into two programs; a normal 9 class school and an IB School focusing on Innovation and Technology studies.

- The Innovation and Technology School should follow the International Baccalaureate primary and middle years' program being taught in English, in parallel with the normal Estonian 9 year program, says Marek Kiisa - project manager for the feasibility study.

- The plan calls for a special school and a special school building, where the school and laboratories and test-training centers of world known IT companies are located in the same venue - thereby connecting professionals with young professionals to be. In this respect we have already started negotiations with Ericsson, Skype and Microsoft, continues Marek Kiisa.

To make the feasibility study complete the International Innovation and Technology School project is now welcoming your feedback on the following questions:

- Would a school like this create an added value when recruiting foreign expertise to your company?

- Would it create an added value for your employees' and your own families?

I have promised to put these questions to the members of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia and I welcome your feedback to me by e-mail: kristiina@swedishchamber.ee or by phone: (+372) 501 9813. Since the project group will have a meeting February 28th, I kindly ask you to revert to me before this date.

Sincerely,

Kristiina Sikk
