SCCE discovered Tallinn’s newest hotel
As SCCE discovered the new Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel last week, our evening together also marked the kick off for SCCE's activities 2010.
Entering Meriton's new venue in Tallinn's old town from Pikk Street 29 takes you directly to Bistro Mary, Café Mademoiselle and our meeting place this evening, the Tapas Bar & Restaurant.
Welcomed by the hotel's General Manager Mihail Burõhh and following clues and hints put out at different spots all around the hotel, SCCE's discovery teams got an opportunity to take a closer look at the venue and found out that the hotel guests have their own and convenient entrance at Lai Street 24. Offering 50 rooms it took the SCCE teams a while to make the discovery tour before we sat down for a glass of wine, a Spanish buffet and togetherness.
It feels like 2010 will highlight yet another year in Estonia's ongoing internationalization and this evening, I and the SCCE members were happy to welcome the Spanish Ambassador and the General Manager of the Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce to our first event this year.
I would like to thank Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel for a very nice arrangement and my thanks also go to all discoverers participating and making our evening to a very cozy couple of After Business Hours together.
Sincerely,
Kristiina Sikk
SCCE Ombudsman
