image: Finance support through available EU Funds; More possibilities than obstacles Finance support through available EU Funds; More possibilities than obstacles

Finance opportunities through the support of available EU Funds should not be underestimated, said Peter Woolsey of C.A.F.E - the French-Estonian Business Club - in his welcome remarks to the participants of the Business Seminar on EU Funds September 21st .

- A project idea with a solid substance, relevant supporting documentation and a professional application are the basic elements forming the key to success, concluded Peter as he gave the word to the first speaker, Siim Sikkut from the Ministry of Finance.

Siim Sikkut outlined the general conditions for the coming period of available EU Structural Funds in Estonia 2007 - 2013.

Andrus Viirg informed on the assistance available from Enterprise Estonia and their routines in connection with evaluating applications for EU funding.

Lo Rihvk of the Bradley Dunbar Group in Estonia continued with tips and hints on Successful Project Applications.

As finance support from EU funds are paid in arrears, Kristiina Kruus of SEB Ühispank informed on the possibilities of financing EU projects.

The Business Seminar, arranged in cooperation with c.a.f.e. and hosted by Enterprise Estonia, was rounded up with a Q&A session.
