As the snow continued to fall down, SCCE gathered for a warm and cozy winter evening at Harmoonikum in Viimsi last Thursday.
Harmoonikum is created as a special place for relaxing. They offer a Day SPA as well as an opportunity to have a light meal or just a cup of tea or coffee. Products used in their SPA and ingredients used in their food products are all based on natural organic ingredients.
SCCE was welcomed by a glass of Prosecco served by Jaanus Vabi, sommelier at SCCE's member Veinipood, and we also got the opportunity to take a closer look at the SPA and massage rooms.
Then it was time for Harmoonikum's Riina Quak and Ene Lill to give a hands on lesson in the art of baking genuine Estonian bread. Everything was prepared for us and after adding salt, sugar and flour to the starter we finally got together acceptable dough's ready for flavoring with raisins, nuts, bacon fat, or even dried nettles.
Please read more and find the list of wines we tasted and Harmoonikum's bread recipe on the links below.
Sincerely,
Kristiina Sikk
