This year SCCE gathered for the annual
General Assembly on top of Tallinn at Radisson
BLU's Lounge 24, February 3rd.
Anders Hedman was elected Chairman of the
General Assembly and gave the word to
Kristiina Sikk and Reidi Strandberg who
presented SCCE's Annual Report 2010 as well
as the budget for 2011.
With 29 events arranged attracting more than
1.000 participants, SCCE could look back at
2010 as yet another year mirroring the intensity
in Estonian - Swedish commerce, trade,
investments and relations.
2011 has taken off in an equally intensive way.
During the first month SCCE could welcome
Eesti Post as a new Royal Member, and
Scandic Hotels and Leinonen OÜ have
upgraded to Royal Memberships. Additionally,
Parvus Finance Group, Net Group, Fotoruum
and Restaurant Nunne7 have joined SCCE.
Upcoming events during February include a
Pre-Election Political Debate - Thursday,
February 10th, After Business Hours at
Restaurant-Lounge Pärl in connection with
their Grand VIP reopening - Saturday, February 12th, and SCCE's traditional celebration in connection with Estonia's Independence Day. Dates for SCCE's traditional parties 2011 have been set as follows; Summer Party - Thursday, June 16th. Crayfish Party - Thursday, September 8th. Christmas Party - Thursday, December 8th. Information on these and all other SCCE activities will follow at www.swedishchamber.ee.
Gustaf Hertsius and Conny Storm, SCCE's Auditors, supported the Annual Report and it, as well as the 2011 budget, was duly approved by the General Assembly. The proceedings were concluded with re-election of SCCE's Council, all Council members will continue their contributions to the Chamber in 2011.
