image: FICE - Foreign Investors’ Council’s priorities 2013 FICE - Foreign Investors’ Council’s priorities 2013 FICE - the Foreign Investors' Council in Estonia was launched in August 2008 as a joint lobby organization of foreign international Chambers of Commerce, Business Clubs and Trade Offices in Estonia. FICE represents the common interests of its members and does so through contacts with the Estonian Parliament, Estonian Government, Estonia's Governmental bodies and the general public in Estonia. In September 2012 FICE was officially registered as a NGO and has today 9 member organizations.

SCCE is one of the FICE’s establishing members and SCCE’s Chairman, Anders Hedman, is a member of the FICE’s Board.

Since it’s forming in 2008 FICE has had meetings with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and the Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications Juhan Parts, as well as other Ministers and politicians to discuss the improvement of the climate for foreign investments.

In mid-November FICE’s Board will gather to discuss the priorities and the action plan for 2013.

As Sweden is the major foreign direct investor in Estonia, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia is now looking for a consensus on a consolidated SCCE listing of the most urgent and important decisions and actions FICE should address in 2013.

Please come back with your proposals for FICE priorities by Friday, November 2nd and SCCE members’ consolidated proposals will be presented to FICE by our Chairman Anders Hedman by November 15th.
