The Swedish export and investment promotion organizations, the Swedish Trade Council and Invest Sweden, have now joined forces in a new organization; Business Sweden.
- The 15th of January 2013 was a day for celebration in 57 countries, as the Swedish Trade Council and Invest Sweden joined forces in a new organization. Together we are stronger and more efficient, says Janar Sutt, Business Sweden’s Market Unit Manager in Estonia.
As the plans for Business Sweden were announced last year, Sweden’s Minister for Trade, Ewa Björling, said:
“In knowledge-based economies the border between exports and investments is more or less wiped out. At the same time the need for industrial expertise is growing and through Business Sweden we aim to achieve synergies that will further enhance the internationalization of companies in our country, which is already one of the most globalized in the world. Business Sweden is an important step in our plan to double Sweden’s export during the period 2010 through 2015.”
- Although our business is new, you will have the same contact persons as before and you will find me and my colleagues in the same Foorum Center office at Narva mnt 5 in Tallinn. For more information you are welcome to give me a call, tel: +372 665 18 03, mob: +372 56 607 159, or send me an e-mail Janar.Sutt@business-sweden.se, concludes Janar Sutt.
SCCE wishes Janar and Business Sweden a continued success in promoting Swedish exports and investments in Sweden.
Sincerely,
