Ambassador Anders Ljunggren and Business Sweden's Country Manager, Janar Sutt, could welcome not only Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria, her husband Prince Daniel, Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas and Sweden's Minister for Higher Education and Research, Helene Hellmark Knutsson, but also a full house of participants to the Swedish Business Awards 2014 at KUMU Art Museum in Tallinn, October 28th.
- It is a great pleasure for Prince Daniel and myself to attend the Swedish Business Awards ceremony today, said Crown Princess Victoria in her welcoming address which also opened the Awards Ceremony.
And, the 2014 Swedish Business Awards winners are...
- Sustainable Growth:
Greencarrier Freight Services Estonia OÜ for "providing sustainable transport and logistics services. The company has made environmental sustainability a priority in all areas of activity and strives to bring negative impacts on the environment to a minimum".
Seve Ehituse AS and RMK/State Forest Management Centre were also nominated for the award which was presented by SAAB Defence & Security.
- Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year:
ISS Eesti AS for "its contribution to society by providing opportunities to people outside the labour market, whilst not losing sight of the company's main field of activity and best business interests".
The award was presented by Ericsson and the nominees for this award also included Põlluvara AS and Swedbank.
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year:
Jevgeni Kabanov, ZeroTurnaround AS, because "his idea and dedication to building ZeroTurnaround has led to the company's international success serving as an example to young Estonian entrepreneurs and an inspiration to other start-ups".
The award was presented by EAS - Enterprise Estonia, and Mait Müntel, Lingvist Inc., and Merily Leis & Paula Pärnaste, Swärk OÜ, were also nominated for the award.
