Though this winter's first snow had disappeared, it looked and smelled like Christmas as SCCE got together for the Chamber's traditional Christmas Party, this year at Radisson BLU Hotel Olümpia's Restaurant Senso.
Following a glass of glögg and get-together mingling, we took our seats and as the lights were dimmed, Lucia and her procession entered the hall performing the traditional Swedish Lucia songs and Christmas carols. Just like last year, the procession was composed of Swedish language students from Tallinn’s Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium.
On behalf of the SCCE Supervisory Board, I would like to thank the team at Radisson BLU Hotel Olümpia for a very nice set up of our Christmas Party. A very special thank you also goes to the students from Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium for creating a true traditional Christmas Spirit.
My thanks also go to HEMTEX who, together with Radisson BLU Hotel Olümpia, put up the prizes to our Christmas Raffle. HEMTEX also contributed with traditional Christmas decorations to our tables, and the additional beautiful table decorations were handmade by Evely Karvak, and put up by her and Urve Peekmann.
Last but not least, my thanks go to all participants for creating yet another December evening filled with a true touch of a real Swedish Christmas.
Photos from our Christmas Party are put up in the slideshow at www.swedishchamber.ee.
Sincerely,
Kristiina Sikk
