SCCE welcomes KGK - KG Knutsson as a new member

KGK - KG Knutsson is a general agent for world leading manufacturers of high quality technical products with well known trademarks for the automotive, marine and leisure branches.

Founded in Sweden by Knut-Göran Knutsson in 1946, KG Knutsson AS in Estonia was established in 1994. In addition to Sweden and Estonia, KGK is also present in Norway, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania.

- Through the years, our business has grown and today we represent 226 manufacturers and distribute their products to more than 600 loyal customers, says Pekka Parkkonen, manager of KG Knutsson AS in Estonia.

- Last year, we expedited 467.958 orders from our customers in the automotive, marine and leisure trades and our turnover was 15,5 million euro. Our modern localities at Saeveski 12 in Tallinn include 750 m² office area and 3.000 m² warehouse area where we have 38.000 items in stock and swift availability to KGK's 495.342 products. In average, we expedite some 420 orders per day and in some cases we deliver several times per day to one and the same customer.

- In 2006, we launched Autoekspert which has now grown to become one of the biggest retail and service chains in Estonia. Currently Autoekspert operates 12 stores and 34 repair workshops all over our country. And, in 2009 we launched Autokataloog, our dependable and easy online ordering system.

- KGK Academy is a broad training program intended for mechanics as well as sales and purchasing personnel and covers everything from pure product knowledge to special courses in shop promotion, business economy, Autokataloog and sales training. The KGK Academy also provides courses for our own personnel.

- In addition to our customers in passenger cars and heavy duty vehicle imports, sales and services, we have now started to focus on fleet owners which I believe will become a growing segment among our customers, concludes Pekka Parkkonen.
