- You have 60 minutes to find the hints, solve the puzzles and riddles, and of course also the last clue needed for your escape, said Rauno Herik, manager at Escape Room Estonia, as he welcomed a group of brave SCCE members to the Teamwork Challenge of the Autumn, Thursday evening, 15 October.
- And, whether you will succeed or not depends on your ability to cooperate in teams, added Rauno.
Supported by a delicious snack buffet and a glass of wine, we collected the courage needed, split up in four groups and headed towards our respective room. Rauno and his Escape Room team members gave each SCCE team a brief on their room, in English of course, before we entered to face the challenge:
Prison Break - All of you have been framed by a serial-killer on charges for murder and are now locked up in a maximum security prison awaiting your executions. You have sixty minutes to escape from the premises before the prison guards come for you...
The Secret Lab - As news reporters you are assigned to report on suspicious incidents at an apartment building. You realize that the place is involved in something inhuman, and you are now in a room with victims who have already been attacked. You have sixty minutes to find your way out...
The Slaughter House - With a dead body lying in the room, you wake up in the lair of a serial killer. Neither one of you know why you are abducted, but instructions left on a recorder order you to get out of the room within sixty minutes if you wish to survive...
Taken - Your daughter has been abducted and taken for ransom by a mob, and you and your team have been entrusted with her safe and immediate return. Now, with time running out, you have sixty minutes at your disposal
to rescue the girl...
This was indeed an exciting and really team-building event, and I would like to thank Rauno Herik and his Escape Room team for a couple of out of the ordinary SCCE After Business Hours. And, my sincere thanks also go to our members for giving 100% of the resource really needed this evening; teamwork!
