- This awards and business conference event, serves as a meeting point for Estonian and Swedish decision makers and corporate leaders to exchange views on business challenges and achievements, said Ambassador Anders Ljunggren and Business Sweden's Country Manager Janar Sutt in their welcoming speeches at the 20th October Swedish Business Awards 2015.
Here are this year's Winners:
Sustainable Growth Award:
ETS NORD "has demonstrated excellent financial results and rapid growth whilst operating with environmental consideration in the production and awareness of cultural and language differences in the workspace".
Nordic Hotel Forum and Toode were the other two nominees for the award which was presented by SAAB Defence and Security.
Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year:
Microsoft "for their initiative aiming to decrease the gap between different social groups and increase their IT literacy and thus tackle a wider inequality problem in the society".
The award was presented by the Swedish Institute and nominees for the award also included Bike-ID and Ülemiste City.
Young Entrepreneur of the Year:
Gerli Veermäe "is a great example of entrepreneurship by finding a market demand, tackling a social issue by solving employer- employee matching challenge, and making it into real and successful business fast".
Reet Rum and Markus Villig were also nominated for the award which was presented by EAS - Enterprise Estonia.
Technological Innovation of the Year:
Skeleton Technologies; "Real life technology with a unique sales point in current market. This innovation helps to solve business problems in several industries and will have an overall impact on the world around us".
The award was presented by Ericsson, and the other two award nominees were Evocon, and E- and M-wallet Project Consortia.
