From noon (13.00 Estonian time) Thursday 12 November, Sweden introduces temporary border controls.

This means that the police at some selected border crossings will check people traveling to Sweden. Those who enter must show that they have the right to enter and stay in Sweden by presenting their passport or national ID-card and thus verifying both their identity and nationality.
