- Good leaders keep an open mind, because minds are like parachutes. They function better when they are open!, said Peter Zashev in his presentation on leadership at this spring’s Business Seminar in Tallinn with SSE Riga - the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
- It also take a vision to be a leader. A vision on how the future for the organization can become better. Good leaders are actually in the business of selling hope for the future by showing the direction that will help us to adapt and become better, concluded Peter Zashev.
- SSE Riga was founded in 1994 by Handelshögskolan - the Stockholm School of Economics in Stockholm – and the Swedish and Latvian governments, told Elga Prauliņa and Elena Sutra.
- Today, we have a community of more than 2.000 SSE Riga alumni and our Executive MBA Programme has graduated students from more than 20 countries since 2002.
- The SSE Riga Executive MBA Programme is a two-year Professional Master’s Programme. It is module-based with 16 course weeks and International Modules in Sweden and Asia – Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia.
- We admit 20 – 30 students to each programme, and the application deadline is 1 June this year for the mid-August start of the academic year, concluded Elga and Elena.
More information on the SSE Riga Executive MBA Programme, as well as the application form, is available online at www.sseriga.edu.
