As the tradition calls for, SCCE’s General Assembly took place on the first Thursday in March, this year at Hotel Palace in Tallinn on 7 March.
Once again we could look back at a very active and intense past year, including Business Breakfasts, Business Lunches, Business Seminars, Workshops, After Business Hours evenings, Wine Academy sessions, Sports, as well as SCCE’s traditional Summer, Crayfish and Christmas Parties.
2019 has started in an equally active way and latest news on SCCE events to come and reports on events passed are always found at www.swedishchamber.ee.
At the General Assembly, SCCE could welcome Ainar Ahusalu - Business Sweden, Tendo Lindvest - Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel, and Jan Nurminen – Handelsbanken as new members of SCCE’s Council.
We also took the opportunity to thank our long time Council members Anders Hedman - Viggen Consulting and Rein Leipalu - RELE Konsultatsioonid for all their contributions to SCCE through the years.
Following the General Assembly, the Council re-elected Karolina Ullman and Per Lindberg as Chairman and Vice Chairman. The re-elections also included Liili Rätsep as SCCE’s Auditor, and Kristiina Brodén as SCCE's Ombudsman.
On behalf of the SCCE, I would like to thank our members for their active participation in the General Assembly proceedings. My thanks also go to Hotel Palace for a very nice set up of our meeting and an equally very nice General Assembly Dinner at the hotel’s Restaurant Konrad.
Sincerely,
Kristiina Brodén - SCCE Ombudsma
