Among our members it is well-known that the summer season can’t really begin without SCCE’s traditional Summer Party.
To be quite honest, summer had already started this year with a couple of very warm and sunny days as SCCE gathered at Rannarahva Muuseum – The Museum of Coastal Folks in Viimsi on Thursday 23 May.
However despite the sunshine, this particular Thursday was a bit cold but as usual nothing stops a SCCE Summer Party! We enjoyed a Summer Party Buffet and Grill with Beer, Wine and Nubbe, all with a touch of Sweden and Estonia. And high spirits and cozy togetherness made the party take off from the very beginning.
Rannarahva Muuseum - The Museum of Coastal Folks is located in Pringi’s cozy old schoolhouse on the Viimsi peninsula and shows the many faces of Estonia’s coastal folks, their history and culture, as well as the contemporary seaside culture. Exhibitions, as well as educational and artistic programs, demonstrate the harmony when land, sea and man meet, and the museum is thus a place where the beauty and simplicity of the coastal folks’ lifestyle is preserved.
On behalf of the SCCE, I would like to thank Rannarahva Muuseum and the team from our member Catering Service for a fantastic Summer Party set up with a wide variety of delicious Swedish and Estonian summer dishes. My thanks also go to Västerbottensost and SEMU Juice for supporting our Summer Buffet. And, last but not least, my thanks go to all our members for making yet another SCCE Summer Party really take off!
Sincerely,
Kristiina Brodén - SCCE Ombudsman
