Once again, SCCE gathered in The White Hall at Park Inn by Radisson Meriton Conference & Spa Hotel in Tallinn for our traditional and classic Christmas Party, Thursday evening 5 December.
Welcomed by a glass of glögg we sat down and looked and listened to Lucia and her procession performing the traditional Swedish Lucia songs and Christmas carols with Eva-Tiina Põlluste at the White Grand Piano. Just like last year, our Lucia procession was composed of Swedish language students from Tallinn’s Gustav Adolfi Gümnaasium.
Despite the lack of snow outside, the Lucia procession once again made the Swedish Christmas spirit arrive, and so did also the very Swedish Julbord (Christmas Buffet) we could enjoy. Just in time for the party, and with the support of Tallink and ICA Värtan, Julskinka, Julmust, Julkorv, Julost, Vörtlimpa and many other Swedish Christmas specialties were brought in directly from Stockholm.
On behalf of the SCCE, I would like to thank the team at Park Inn by Radisson Meriton Conference & Spa Hotel for an excellent Christmas Party set up. My sincere thanks also go to Eva-Tiina Põlluste and her Swedish language students from Gustav Adolfi Gümnaasium for a beautiful and solemn Lucia performance. Last but not least, my thanks go to all our members for creating yet another cozy start of the Festive Season filled with a true touch of a real Swedish Christmas.
Sincerely,
Kristiina Brodén - SCCE Ombudsman
