SCCE’s General Assembly 2021 SCCE’s General Assembly 2021

Just like last year, the venue for SCCE’s General Assembly this year became the digital arena. Using the Zoom web conferencing platform, the proceedings were conducted on Thursday 25 March.

SCCE could look back at an active and intense past year. However, the pandemic influenced the set-up of the events. Out of the 27 events being organized, 14 were arranged in a face-to-face set-up (among them SCCE’s traditional Crayfish Party and the annual Tennis Tournament) and the remaining 13 events took place in a webinar format.

2021 has begun in an equally active way. During the first three months this year, 8 events have been arranged, all in a webinar format.

The reports on SCCE’s activities, finances and audit for 2020, as well as the budget proposal for 2021 were all approved by the Assembly.

Furthermore, the General Assembly elected SCCE’s Council for 2021 to include: Evelin Allas – SEB, Andreas Engberg – Ericsson, Henrik Grudemo – Embassy of Sweden, Maria Karlström – Volvo Trucks Estonia, Kadri Land – Tallink Grupp, Per Lindberg – Stoneridge Electronics, Tendo Lindvest – Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel/Tallink Express Hotel, Mart Nõmper - Grant Thornton Baltic, Janar Sutt – Baltic Consulting Team, and Karolina Ullman - NJORD Law Firm. A special warm welcome to Andreas Engberg and Maria Karlström who now have joined the Council. And, an equally warm thank you to Ainar Ahusalu and Lars Ottoson for their contributions to SCCE’s Council during 2020.

Following the proceedings, Ivar Miller - Auxner was elected as SCCE’s Auditor.

I would like to thank SCCE’s members who participated in this year’s OnLine General Assembly. The upcoming spring will be filled with events on the digital arena and I do look forward to the time when we can meet for seminars, parties and sports on a personal level again.

Kristiina Brodén - SCCE Ombudsman
