- Almost half of Sweden’s trade takes place with non-Euro countries. However, 55% of the Swedish overall trade is invoiced in Euro and 25% is invoiced in US-Dollar, said Boris Kovacevic at the Thursday 15 April webinar, organized by the Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce within the cooperation format Swedish Chambers International – SCI.
- Currently, the global trade is facing major bottlenecks. Containerships are limited in supply which, in combination with strong demand, create major bottlenecks. On some intercontinental sea routes, the shipping costs have increased with over 400% during the last six months, continued Boris Kovacevic, Senior Financial Analyst at Western Union Business Solutions.
