This year, the prioritised areas for grants are projects with clear bilateral focus and with participants from both countries within cultural exchange and knowledge sharing, network building, entrepreneurship, and promoting Estonian and Swedish languages and cultures in each country.
The deadline for applications is March 31, 2023. More information can be found on the Fund’s website: https://sweestfund.org/applications-for-grants.
Please feel free to share this information with other contacts in your network. The Fund is looking forward to strengthening the ties between Sweden and Estonia by supporting some great projects in 2023!
The initiative to the Swedish-Estonian Cooperation Fund was taken in 2018 by the Swedish Government to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Estonia’s Declaration of Independence. Sweden placed SEK 10 million in the Fund and later on, the Estonian State, companies and individuals have contributed further. Similar Funds were also established in Latvia and Lithuania. Detailed information on the Fund is available online at sweestfund.org.
With kind regards on behalf of the Sweden-Estonia Cooperation Fund,
