Mid-March marks the time for SCCE’s General Assembly and this year we met at Radisson BLU Hotel Olümpia on Thursday evening, 16 March.
We could look back at a very active last year with a wide variety of events being organized. Totally, SCCE invited our members to 32 events, among them the traditional Summer Party and Kräftskivan/the Crayfish Party, the classic Julbord/Christmas Buffet as well as a number of Business Seminars and the annual Tennis Tournament.
2023 has begun in an equally active way. During the first two and a half months, six events have been arranged, including the Team Sweden 2023 Kick-Off at the Ambassador’s Residence at the Embassy of Sweden.
As the proceedings went on, the Assembly approved the reports on SCCE’s activities, finances and auditor’s statement for 2022, as well as the budget proposal for 2023.
Furthermore, the General Assembly elected SCCE’s Council for 2023 to include: Evelin Allas – SEB, Andreas Engberg – Ericsson, Ragnar Koppel – AQ Group, Kadri Land – Tallink Grupp, Per Lindberg – Stoneridge Electronics, Janar Sutt – Baltic Consulting Team, Robert Pajos (starting his assignment on 1 May), Otto Pukk – Incap, Karolina Ullman - NJORD Law Firm, and Samira Zayane – Embassy of Sweden.
A special warm welcome to Ragnar Koppel and Robert Pajos as new members of SCCE’s Council. And, an equally warm thank you to Maria Karlström and Mart Nõmper for their contributions to SCCE’s Council during 2022.
Following the proceedings, Ivar Miller - Auxner was elected as SCCE’s Auditor 2023.
The upcoming spring will be filled with SCCE activities, ranging from Business Seminars and Company Visits to Sports and Get-Togethers and I do look forward to seeing you. As usual, latest SCCE news and reports from events passed are always found at www.swedishchamber.ee.
Sincerely,
Kristiina Brodén - SCCE Ombudsman
