The 2013 edition of the Chambers’ of Commerce International Football Tournament will kick off at 11.00, Saturday, May 25th at Tallinn’s Kadrioru Staadion.
This year’s competing teams include players from the American, British, Danish, Finnish, German, Spanish and Swedish Chambers of Commerce in Estonia, as well as a team from the Estonian Junior Chamber of Commerce, and this year’s newcomer; The Holland Business Club in Estonia.
This will be the fourth consecutive edition of the Football Tournament and last year SCCE’s team took the 4th place. The British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce won the gold, and the silver went to the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce with AmCham taking the bronze.
Date and Time Saturday, May 25th at 11.00 until appr. 18.00
Arena Kadrioru Staadion, Roheline aas 24, Tallinn (see the map)
Cost Free of charge. Fast food and beverages will be available at the Staadion at your own expense.
Before the Tournament, training sessions will take place at Tallinn’s Snelli Stadium on Sundays at 11.00 – 12.30 on the following dates: April 28th, May 5th and 12th.
- As I see it, the two main reasons for this tournament are to have fun and create contacts! Now, there is of course an element of seriousness as well. I am not going to Kadriorg to get beaten by Finns, Danes or whoever it might be. I know that if we together decide that we work really hard as a team we can achieve something, wrote Sweden’s Team Captain Pelle Lindberg in a mail to his team last year.
- Yeah, one last thing: bring your friends and family because we need support!! And bring all those Swedish flags that you have in your homes!, concluded Pelle his mail.
