On Sunday January 19th, Barbro Allardt Ljunggren - Ph.D. in bilingual research and lecturer at Södertörn University specializing in Swedish and in Swedish as a second language - will talk about bi/multilingualism from several aspects:
- Bi/multilingualism in different environments; reality and myths.
- How is bi/multilingualism defined?
- What do we know about language learning in a bi/multilingual environment?
- What can one do as a parent to facilitate the children’s language development?
The lecture will be held in Swedish language making it especially suitable for Scandinavian speaking members of the SCCE.
