Despite the rapid pace in which technology evolves, where it can seemingly complete a considerable amount of work, the employee is still the most treasured asset for most companies. Motivating employees in the right way will increase co-operation which will itself lead to better financial results. However, it is now highly unlikely that a customary sports club membership or Christmas bonus suffices as a motivation package which will draw in new employees or make existing employees try harder.
NJORD Law Firm lawyers Anne Veerpalu, Siiri Traat-McClelland, Triinu Hiob and Janus Paurman will introduce a possible motivation package to tackle this issue – an employee oriented share options program, which will enable employees to acquire shares in the employer’s company.
The seminar will feature an introduction into the nature of an options program from the perspectives of corporate, tax and employment law coupled with our firm’s experience in this field.
