image: Study visit: NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence Study visit: NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence

Very welcome to join for a study visit to CCDCOE – NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in Tallinn, Thursday afternoon 27 September.

In 2007, major cyber attacks on Estonian public and private institutions were made. Estonia managed to keep its fort and CCDCOE was formed and opened in Tallinn in early 2008. In May 2017, Sweden joined CCDCOE as a Contributing Participant, a membership status eligible for non-NATO nations.

Our program at the study visit will include presentations on CCDCOE’s history, an overview of the centre, its members and relation to NATO, and its research areas. Furthermore we will get a brief on the biggest cyber defence exercise Locked Shields which is run from Tallinn with local teams in all member countries, as well as the centre’s annual conference CyCon in Tallinn. A Q&A session is also included in our agenda.

Date and Time: Thursday 27 September, 15.00 – 16.30. Please note that ID-control and entrance to the premises will be done with us as a group, which means that 15.00 means not later than15.00.
